Frequently asked questions about home wound care

The questions families and referral sources ask us most, answered in plain language. If yours is not here, call us — we would rather answer it directly.

What is home wound care?

Home wound care is skilled nursing provided where you live. A nurse assesses the wound, cleans and dresses it, watches for infection and reports to the provider treating you — so you do not have to travel to a clinic for every dressing change.

Payers currently accepted: Florida Medicaid & private insurance. Care always requires a physician’s order and an eligibility determination.
